Little Doves Preschool and Kindergarten provides an outstanding early childhood education in Monroe. We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic pre-k and preschool teacher who has a love for young children and their families. The position is part-time Mondays through Fridays from January to mid-June 2020 and then continuing in the fall.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach lessons using curriculum provided.

• Oversee a small group of children ages 3-5 in a classroom setting.

 

Skills and Abilities:

• Love for children and teaching.

• Ability to communicate effectively and positively with the children, their families, and other staff members.

• Ability to create an inviting, fun atmosphere that encourages early childhood growth and development.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Availability Monday through Friday mornings from January to mid-June 2020.

 

Job Requirements:

• Strong foundation in the Christian faith.

• Early childhood degree/certificate or minimum of 20 college credit hours in ECE, preferred.

• Note: Background check and first aid certification will be required upon hiring.

Experience:

• Experience with young children in a group setting desired.

• Teaching experience desired, but not necessary.

• Position pays $14-$20 per hour depending on education and experience.
